Cybersecurity student / Aspiring penetration tester / Building in public
Self-teaching offensive security alongside an English Language & Literature degree at Near East University. Currently working through Linux fundamentals, cryptography, and CTF challenges — logging everything as I go.
I write code, break ciphers, and spend more time in a terminal than I probably should. My degree isn't in security — so I'm building the technical side myself, one Bandit level and one write-up at a time, with the goal of getting into pentesting professionally.
A command-line tool for encoding and decoding text with the Caesar cipher. First featured project — small in scope, but built and shipped end to end.
Working through OverTheWire's Bandit wargame level by level — documenting the Linux fundamentals, privilege escalation basics, and tooling along the way.
Next up: PicoCTF challenges and a HackTheBox Starting Point run. Check back soon.
